Our Cheeky Char Siew is made from pork jowl, naturally more marbled for that melt-in-your-mouth texture. Rich. Tender. Unapologetically indulgent 🤪
Each slice is caramelised to perfection, with a bold sweet glaze and a satisfying bite. Slightly fattier than our Crystal Honey-Glazed Char Siew, it’s extra soft, incredibly tender, and full of flavour.
Blast frozen and kept frozen to lock in freshness, texture, and quality. Easy to reheat and enjoy anytime.
Note: Pork jowl is typically around 30-50% fat to meat ratio. If you prefer leaner cuts, we recommend choosing our Crystal Char Siew instead.
Because it’s richer, having it on its own can feel a little “gelat”. We recommend pairing it with lettuce wraps for a lighter, fresher bite.

Storage
Keep frozen until ready to consume. For best quality, do not refreeze after thawing.

Frozen reheating instructions
Important: Please ensure the char siew is fully thawed before reheating for the best texture and even heating.
Tip: Pour some Honey Sauce provided over the char siew before reheating to keep it extra juicy and glossy.
Microwave
- Frozen Cheeky Pork Jowl Char Siew: Vacuum packed, no tray is provided. Remove from packaging and place on a microwave-safe plate before reheating.
- Power: Low
- Timing:

- Room temperature (fully thawed): 45 seconds to 1 minute
- Previously chilled (fully thawed): 1 to 1.5 minutes
Alternative (no microwave)
- Remove the char siew from its packaging.
- Wrap it completely in aluminium foil.
- Place it in the oven at 180°C for 4 to 5 minutes.
Cutting tips
For the best balance of meat and fat, slice the pork jowl at a 45 degree angle. (reference to video on the page)
