We joined Quan Shui SG60 Bazaar for a special weekend of roast favourites, festival specials, and community energy, bringing CHARROU to one of the event's standout market experiences.

Held on 30-31 Aug 2025 at Quan Shui Wet Market, the bazaar gave us the chance to share CHARROU in a lively, in-person setting where guests could stop by, explore the menu, and experience our roasts up close.

Bringing CHARROU to SG60 Bazaar

For us, Quan Shui SG60 Bazaar was the heart of the weekend.

It was a chance to be part of an event that celebrated local culture, good food, and the energy of people gathering together. We wanted our presence there to feel true to what CHARROU is about - roast meats with strong heritage, bold flavour, and the kind of quality that speaks for itself from the first bite.

We kept the menu grounded in the signatures people know us for, while also shaping it for a market setting where guests could try, share, and discover new favourites.

What we served

Our line-up at SG60 Bazaar included:

  • Honey Glazed Pork Belly Crystal Char Siew
  • Pork Jowl Cheeky Char Siew Bao
  • CHARROU Trio Bun
  • Bacon Roasted Pork Sio Bak

Each item reflected the core of our brand: crisp texture, balanced seasoning, careful roasting, and flavours rooted in heritage.

A special collaboration with The 1925 Brewing Co.

Alongside the main bazaar experience, we also collaborated with The 1925 Brewing Co. on a guided pairing session that brought together craft beer and selected CHARROU bites.

This was a smaller part of the overall event, but one that gave us the opportunity to explore how our roasts could work in a different format. The pairing highlighted the contrast between rich pork, caramelised char, crisp skin, and malt-forward beer profiles in a way that felt thoughtful and memorable.
