Our First Pop-Up
CHARROU joined Sentosa GrillFest 2025 with a beachside pop-up at Siloso Beach, serving roast favourites, trio buns, and festival specials in one of Singapore's best-known food festival settings.
Held from 18 Jul to 10 Aug 2025, Sentosa GrillFest gave us the chance to bring CHARROU into a new environment - open air, by the sea, and surrounded by the energy of a crowd. As our first major pop-up, it was an exciting opportunity to share our signature roast experience with our customers.
CHARROU's first major festival pop-up
Sentosa GrillFest 2025 was a milestone for CHARROU. It marked our first time participating in a large-format food festival, and we wanted to create a menu that felt true to our brand while fitting the pace and atmosphere of a beachside event.
Our goal was simple: bring bold flavours, easy-to-share formats, and the roast quality CHARROU is known for into a festival setting. That meant crisp skin, tender meat, balanced glaze, and generous portions designed to be enjoyed from the first bite to the last.
For us, this was more than a pop-up. It was a chance to introduce CHARROU to Singapore at Siloso Beach and show how our roast favourites could translate into a fun, casual outdoor dining experience.

One of the standout items during our Sentosa GrillFest 2025 pop-up was the CHARROU Trio Bun. With several crowd favourites brought together in one format, it quickly became a natural fit for the festival and a popular choice for guests looking to try more in a single order.
Reworking the CHARROU experience for a beach festival
We did not want to simply bring our usual menu to Sentosa and serve it as-is. We wanted the CHARROU experience at Sentosa GrillFest to feel relaxed, memorable, and easy to enjoy with friends by the beach.
From the open-air setting at Siloso Beach to the festival-exclusive combinations on the menu, the event gave us room to present CHARROU in a more playful way while staying grounded in the roast heritage that defines our brand.
That balance - between heritage and spontaneity, comfort and novelty - was what made this festival pop-up special for us.
